Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata Sons, dismissed reports of his hospitalisation due to a drop in blood pressure and assured his followers on Instagram that he was fine.
The 86-year-old industrialist was taken to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital around 12.30-1.00 am in critical condition, according to hospital sources.
In an Instagram post, Ratan Tata shared that he is undergoing routine medical check-ups due to his age and assured his followers that there is no need for concern.
“I am aware of the recent rumours circulating regarding my health and want to assure everyone that these claims are unfounded. There is no cause for worry. I remain in good spirits,”
Ratan Tata was in the news recently when he sold 5% of his stake in Mumbai-based stock broking startup Upstox, which delivered him an impressive 23,000% return on his initial investment.
