In a small village there lived a Greedy man. He was a very rich man who was fond of jewels and gold. But above all, he was devoted to his daughter. He came to a fairy one day. Some tree branches tangled the fairy’s hair. He lends her a helping hand, but when his greed takes over, he realizes that he can make more money by granting her wishes in return. His wish was granted by a fairy. “Everything I touch must turn to gold,” he declared. And the praise fairy granted his wish.
The Greedy man touched stones and pebbles and watched them turn into gold as he hurried home to inform his wife and daughter about his wish. His daughter ran to meet him when he arrived home.
