No matter how fortunate they are, people will always have complaints about life and the many situations they encounter. Life always seems difficult. Majority of people in the society can lead happy life because of nature, society and their country; However, a life devoid of gratitude, greed and an egoistic mindset leads to misery.
Despite technology making our lives more enjoyable than previous generations, social, mental and physical health problems have increased significantly and overall, we are unhappy with many things in our lives. Despite the hardships, we can see that previous generations were generally content, and that “inclined gratitude” is the primary reason for this.
We no longer see the need for both spiritual and material elements in life. Our attention is drawn more and more towards materialistic aspects, which makes life boring and unpleasant. Absent is the spiritual aspect, which develops the life skills necessary for a contented, selfless and balanced existence.How can we change our lives for the better? The world should study the life of the great disciple Lord Hanuman to understand how to regain zeal, courage and bravery and how to use the right tools to defeat evil from within and without.
Lord Hanuman’s life teaches us many valuable lessons about discipleship, confidence in the face of adversity, communication skills, psychology, faith in God and self, sound judgment, awareness and alertness and laughter when needed.

सूक्ष्म रूप धरि सियहिं दिखावा, बिकट रूप धरि लंक जरावा॥
While crossing the ocean in search of Goddess Sita, Lord Hanuman faced many challenges, but he overcame them all by focusing on his mission. Although he is offered a place to rest, he refuses, saying that he will not give up until he finds Sita. When he first came to Lanka, he saw stunning women reclining in the palace, but he was not impressed and kept searching.
When he arrived in the garden where Sita was kept, he waited patiently to meet her. This trait of rushing across the ocean and waiting calmly shows how one has to deal with various situations. He started singing the song of Lord Rama.
He started praising Lord Rama and Goddess Sita and showed Sita the ring given by Rama and assured her that it was he who had sent him. On his return journey he encountered Ravana’s army several times and they set fire to his tail.As an opportunity to weaken the opposing force, he set fire to Lanka and then made his way back to meet Lord Rama. His determination, razor-focused thinking, context-based decision-making, presence of mind and respect for women all reflected these qualities, even when the situation was more challenging and the mission unattainable.
तुम्हरो मंत्र विभीषण माना, लंकेस्वर भए सब जग जाना॥
Lord Hanuman convinced Ravana’s brother Vibhishana to distance himself from his brother for the good of Lanka and all the people, when he saw that Vibhishana had moral qualities. Persuaded, Vibhishana went to meet Lord Rama and miraculously surrendered himself to him. When Lord Rama asked them if they wanted Vibhishana on their side, they all replied no.
But when he asked Hanuman, Lord Rama convinced him to accept him unconditionally and we all know how important this choice was to defeat Ravana. Finally, Vibhishana emerged as the legitimate emperor of Lanka. This exemplifies Hanuman’s admirable character and his persuasive ability in selecting suitable candidates.
सब पर राम तपस्वी राजा, तिनके काज सकल तुम साजा॥
To overcome the challenges, a great almighty, “Maryada Purushottam,” a great emperor who cannot be defeated, must seek the help of a student who has such deep admiration and faith in his Guru or Bhagavan that he is content in any situation. in. Thus having an appreciation and faith in life and the divine gives the power to change the world for the better for everyone.
साधु सन्त के तुम रखवारे, असुर निकंदन राम दुलारे॥
Lord Hanuman defeated these malevolent elements to protect all by using his strength, valor and fighting spirit to oppose injustice, exploitation of sages and common man. For this reason, we, the weaker members of society, pray to you for courage and sanity to resist these evil forces that want to destroy our wonderful culture, community and country.
पवन तनय संकट हरन, मंगल मूरति रूप। राम लखन सीता सहित, हृदय बसहु सूरभूप॥
Addressing Lord Hanuman in prayer, Tulsidas says, “You are the embodiment of joy and goodness in life.” May you, Lakshmana, Goddess Sita and Lord Rama always reside in our hearts.
