What is the shelf life of fresh pasta? While dry pasta can be stored indefinitely in your cupboard, fresh pasta that hasn’t been cooked should be refrigerated after roughly a day. It’s recommended to prepare and cook your pasta dough immediately.
You can prepare the pasta dough up to one day in advance, if necessary. When you remove it, dust the dough with a bit more flour if it’s too sticky.
After cooking, store your handmade fresh pasta in the refrigerator in an airtight container, just like you would other pasta recipes.
