G Marimuthu, a Tamil actor and director who was last seen in Rajinikanth’s Jailer, died at the age of 57. The Marimuthu passed away on Friday after suffering a heart arrest, according to the South Indian Artists Association. While dubbing for a Tamil TV series, he apparently felt uneasy and was sent to the hospital.

Marimuthu had recently started acting and could be seen in several films and tele-serials.
