G Marimuthu, a well-known Tamil actor and director best remembered for his performances in Rajinikanth’s Jailer, fell dead at the age of 57 after a cardiac arrest.
G Marimuthu, a Tamil actor and director who was last seen in Rajinikanth’s Jailer, died at the age of 57. The Marimuthu passed away on Friday after suffering a heart arrest, according to the South Indian Artists Association. While dubbing for a Tamil TV series, he apparently felt uneasy and was sent to the hospital.
Marimuthu had recently started acting and could be seen in several films and tele-serials.
Prasanna, a well-known actor who appeared in “Pulivaal” and “Kannum Kannum,” two films Marimuthu directed, sent his sympathies. After hearing of his passing, the 57-year-old actor received several condolences from the Tamil cinema industry.
