A Pokemon enthusiast posted a beautiful piece of artwork depicting what Growlithe, Eevee, and Cubone could look like if they were combined to form a single fusion Pokemon. The artwork depicting Pokemon gives an intriguing glimpse of what the series would look like if more of its pocket monsters were combined.

Although Pokemon fusion is a popular topic for fan art, they are popular subjects for fan art. The most frequent form of Pokémon fusion players encounter is when two or more members of the same species combine to form a single Pokémon, such as when three Magnetites combine to form a Magneton, or two Coughings merge to form a Weezing. Fan art Pokémon fusion creations involve the fusing of completely different Pokémon, but this type of fusion usually results in a minor change to the look of the original solo Pokémon.

In Pokemon fan art, combining Growlithe, Eevee (often styled as Eevee), and Cubone opens up a world of creative possibilities. Although it doesn’t have a name, the unusual Pokemon successfully mixes Growlithe, Eevee and Cubone. The Pokemon’s basic body is made from Growlithe, including Eevee’s fluffy tail and neck ruff, Cubone’s skull mask and eyes to complete the look. The artist attempted to emulate Ken Sugimori’s original Pokemon artwork by first creating a pencil sketch of the character on paper and then refining it into its final polished form.

In terms of typing, these three Pokémon have very little in common: their initial typing styles were Fire, Normal, and Ground, respectively. Still, they share many dog-like features and color schemes that may have inspired this particular combination. This artwork gives a look at what could happen if this particular trio of Pokemon were to unite to become one, although it’s highly unlikely that they would happen in the official game.

Will Pokemon Fusions Feature in Future Games?

Pokemon Fusion has made brief appearances in most of the main games. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet had some special characters, such as Vugtrio and Diplin, who were included in the game’s The Teal Mask DLc. Fusions from the main game have also been incorporated into Pokemon GO. In light of this, it is likely that new Fusion Pokemon will appear in the upcoming Pokemon games. It’s unclear if that includes Pokemon Legends: Z-A, but fans of this type of fan art are hoping for more official Pokemon Fusion in addition to fan creations.
