DUBAI AQUARIUM
The Dubai Aquarium, which is home to 140 vibrant kinds of fish and other marine life, is another must-see location in Dubai. The world’s largest collection of sand tiger sharks may be found in the main tank, which has a capacity of 10 million liters and is home to hundreds of sharks and rays. DUBAI MALL
Dubai Mall attracts visitors from all over the world who come to shop at its chic establishments. It’s more than just a place to enter the Burj Khalifa or view the underwater world of Dubai Aquarium. With over 1200 stores, the shopping options are practically limitless. However, if the allure of shopping becomes overwhelming, there is a vast selection of dining establishments, an ice rink, a gaming area, and a movie theater close by.
DUBAI MUSEUM
Located within the magnificent sand-colored Al-Fahidi Fort, constructed in the late 1700s for the purpose of guarding Dubai Creek, this is the premier museum and most popular cultural destination in Dubai. Amidst the centuries-old architecture, which includes wooden supports, coral stone, and palms among other elements, there’s a courtyard full of traditionally built boats and an interesting map exhibit illustrating Dubai’s evolution through time. The Dubai Museum is the best place to have an understanding of both modern and traditional Emirati society.
BASTAKIA
Bastakia, also referred to as Old Dubai, is a veritable gold mine of Emirati history. The late 1800s saw the creation of the Dubai Creek district. The neighborhood’s winding streets, which have remained mostly unchanged since then, are packed with tasteful old buildings, many of which have wind towers that keep them cool in the summer. The Majlis Gallery features traditional Arab furniture and ceramics, and the XVA Gallery features modern art. The Bastakia is also a thriving hub for the arts.
THE DUBAI FOUNTAIN
