It is said that the position of this temple gives it considerable magnetic power. It is believed that the temple has healing properties. To enter the temple, one must adhere to a strict dress code. Around 50,000 people visit the temple every day. The temple has a total wealth of 2,500 crores.
4. Temple of Somnath, Gujarat
It is one of the Jyotirlinga temples in India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. One of the main attractions of the temple is the Chalukya architecture. It climbs about 150 meters up to the temple tomb. Inside the temple, the invaders have stolen and destroyed numerous artefacts. Still remains amazing and charming. Located on the west coast of Gujarat, this temple attracts lakhs of devotees every year. The total estimated value of the temple is believed to be over INR 11 crores.
5. The Temple of Jagannath, Puri
This temple is one of the oldest temples in India dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Every year, a large number of people gather at this Puri, Orissa, temple, especially during the Rath Yatra festival. 6. Temple of Venkateswara, Andhra Pradesh
More than 5 million devotees visit this place every day during the festival days. Pilgrims donate a total of $120 million in cash, gold and other offerings to the temple annually. Human hair is washed and distributed after being shaved as an offering by pilgrims. The total cost of the temple is 37,000 crores. The Seven Hills region of Chittoor also has this temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and an important pilgrimage site. Three thousand kilos of gold bars are produced annually from donations for the temple, thus facilitating storage.
