Worli, Maharashtra Election 2024: In a close battle in Worli, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray has regained lead in the seat against Shiv Sena leader Milind Deora.

Aaditya Thackeray is leading by 2233 votes against Milind Deora. According to EC data at 12:40 pm, Thackeray has won 29423 votes. Milind Deora won 27190 seats.

The early trends have flipped for Shiv Sena UBT leader Aaditya Thackeray, who started the day with a strong lead in Worli and is facing a threat from Shiv Sena leader Milind Deora. The trend was based on the ECI data of third round of vote counting.

Earlier in the day, the young Shiv Sena UBT leader was leading with a margin of around 1000 votes, however, Milind Deora managed to reduce the margin as the vote counting continued.

Deora, a 47-year-old former Union minister, quit the Congress in January this year and joined the Shiv Sena. He has twice represented the South Mumbai Lok Sabha seat, which covers Worli, in the past.

Maharashtra Navnirman sena leader Sandeep Sudhakar is at the third position in the race and is trailing by 5285 votes. So far, the leader has won 5966 votes, according to ECI data.

The constituency saw Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who heads the ruling Shiv Sena, his Telangana counterpart A Revanth Reddy of the Congress and MNS chief Raj Thackeray seeking votes for their respective candidates.
