Popular film editor Nishadh Yusuf was found dead in the early hours of Wednesday, October 30. According to reports, his body was found in his apartment in Panampilly Nagar in Kochi at around 2 am.
Nishadh Yusuf's sudden demise was confirmed by The Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) Directors' Union on their official Facebook page.
Nishadh Yusuf, film editor, who played a major role in determining the contemporary future of the changing Malayalam cinema is not something the film world will be able to quickly accept.
The news about Nishadh's tragic death came across as a huge shock to his followers and the members of the Malayalam and Tamil film industries.
Some of his notable films as an editor are Thallumaala, Unda, One, Saudi Vellakka and Adios Amigos, among others. His upcoming project is Suriya and director Siruthai Siva's big-budget film, Kanguva, which is set for a grand release on November 14.
His upcoming films also include Mammootty's Bazooka and Suriya's upcoming film with director-actor RJ Balaji. In 2022, Nishadh Yusuf received the Kerala State Award for Best Editor for his exceptional work in the critically acclaimed film, Thallumaala.
