Actor Radhika Apte recently announced her pregnancy with an appearance at the British Film Institute (BFI) London Film Festival on Wednesday evening, October 16.
The actor wore a simple black off-shoulder bodycon dress as she posed with a baby bump on the red carpet. The 39-year-old is married to British musician Benedict Taylor.
Radhika and Benedict have been married for 12 years. While Radhika began working in 2005 and did many films and series across languages, her husband began working as a violist, violinist and composer in the year 2000.
Benedict has not just worked in the British and European music scene, but has also curated special music for many Indian projects, including Udta Punjab, Paatal Lok, Son Chiriya, Qarib Qarib Single and Nil Battey Sannata, among others.
One of his most reverred pieces lies in Ship of Theseus, in which he teamed up with his frequent collaborator, guitarist Naren Chandavarkar.
